Put a whole collection on sale with Bulk price editor.

Bulk discounts without editing prices one by one: pick the products, set the discount, publish. Discounty writes the new price onto each product, so it shows on the product page, collection, cart and POS.

Questions merchants ask before they start

Does the sale price show everywhere?

Yes. The discount is written onto the product rather than layered over it, so every surface Shopify draws a price on shows the sale price: product page, collection, search, cart, and POS. Three exceptions: a product with a fixed price in a Shopify market keeps that price there; if your main market is outside the European Economic Area, Shopify hides the struck-through price from shoppers there until you change it in Markets; and a product already in another active campaign is left out unless both campaigns allow combining.

What happens to my original price?

Discounty records each product’s price and compare-at price when the campaign starts, and writes them back when it ends. For a product with no compare-at price, the old price also sits in compare-at during the sale. For a product that already had one, the old price is kept only in Discounty, so removing the app without ending the campaign leaves nothing on the product to restore it from. End the campaign first, or use Safe uninstall.

Can I keep my prices ending in .99?

Yes, from the Essential plan. Set specific price endings rounds each sale price to the ending you choose, for example 5.68 to 5.99.

Do new products join a sale that is already running?

From the Discounty plan. Add ten items to the collection and the running campaign picks them up on its next check, usually within about two hours, without being touched.

How many products can I discount at once?

That is what the plans scale on. The free plan runs 3 campaigns across 10 live variants; paid plans go from 150 variants up to unlimited. A variant is one version of a product: a t-shirt in size M and colour Blue is one, so a product with 3 sizes and 3 colours is 9.

How do I stop it?

Deactivate the campaign in Discounty, or let its end date pass, and the prices go back. Removing the app without doing that leaves the sale prices in place, because they are the real prices on your products by then.

Can I change a campaign while it is running?

While it is live, only the end date and time can move. To go deeper, deactivate it, edit, and activate it again; switching it off puts the old prices back while you edit. To add products without touching the running sale, duplicate it and point the copy at them.

Can I make the offer easier to notice?

Yes. Add a countdown on the product page that runs to the campaign’s end date and stops itself (Essential plan and up). On the Discounty plan you can also run a quantity discount on top of the sale price: tick each campaign in the other’s Campaign combinations.

How will I know whether it worked?

Open the campaign in Discounty: it has its own Analytics page with the revenue and orders it brought in, revenue by product, and every order that used the discount. Bulk price editor is the one campaign type the Analytics dashboard reports on today.
